Job Overview:
A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney to support its Structured Finance practice. This position provides the opportunity to work on complex structured finance and derivatives matters, including over-the-counter derivatives and documentation under the ISDA Master Agreement. The ideal candidate will bring experience in transactional finance law and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. The role offers a hybrid work environment and is available in multiple major U.S. markets.

Duties:
Draft and negotiate ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, Credit Support Annexes, and Confirmations
Advise on over-the-counter derivatives and compliance with ISDA regulatory protocols, including Dodd-Frank
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to structure and execute complex finance transactions
Perform legal research and prepare high-quality written work products
Ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and timeliness in client communications and deliverables
Contribute to business development and internal knowledge sharing initiatives
Maintain compliance with firm policies, deadlines, and professional standards
Requirements:
3–5 years of relevant experience in derivatives and structured finance
Demonstrated experience working with ISDA documentation and related protocols
Familiarity with Dodd-Frank compliance and related regulatory frameworks
Prior experience at an Am Law 100 or comparable law firm is preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction corresponding to the office location (NY, IL, CA, or TX)
In good standing with the applicable State Bar
Skills:
Strong legal research, writing, and analysis skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation
Good business judgment and conceptual thinking
Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
Strong interpersonal skills and persuasive communication abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across legal teams
