Duties

• Prepare and prosecute U.S. patent applications in the software and electronics fields

• Provide strategic counseling on patent portfolio development

• Advise clients on patentability, freedom-to-operate, and other IP matters

• Collaborate with other attorneys and clients to deliver high-quality legal services

• Maintain a detail-oriented approach to writing and communication

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent prosecution

• USPTO registration required (Reg. No. must be active)

• Demonstrated ability in handling software-related patent applications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

• Willingness to work in an in-office environment

Education

• Degree in one of the following fields (or related discipline):

  • Computer Engineering

  • Computer Science

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Mathematics

  • Physics

Certifications

• USPTO Registration Number (required)
