Requirements

• Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis).
• Ability to handle a heavy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Membership in the local bar association; active membership preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in criminal law preferred.
• Former prosecution experience strongly preferred.
• Admitted to practice law in Tennessee.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
