Duties

• Manage general litigation and product liability matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct file review and legal analysis of claims and defenses.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery demands.
• Handle depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Negotiate settlements and manage alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Maintain strong client relationships and adhere to guidelines.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff.
• Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural requirements.

Requirements

• Admission to practice in the State of New York (additional admissions in NJ, CT, and/or PA are a plus).
• 3-8 years of experience in general litigation and product liability.
• Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Federal Court experience is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
