Corporate Paralegal

Duties: Provide legal support to hospitals in connection with business licensing: Assist with annual licensing registration and permit renewal process, working closely with hospital managers and local government agencies. Assist with maintenance of license and permit files and database. Research state, county and city regulations for licensing and permit information. Work closely with field staff and support office personnel on a regular basis. Support field personnel with issue resolution involving facility and/or materials licensing/registration.Prepare and file corporate documents, licenses and permits with governmental agencies Provide day-to-day legal support to hospitals and field team. Provide back-up support for new hospital acquisitions based upon deal volume, including due diligence and other related support for various corporate transactions. Oversee filing of general corporate filings. Assist in maintaining minute books and other corporate governance documents. Will also include traditional administrative responsibilities for the legal team generally, including general support, document management, and research support. Will manage paralegal type tasks (process driven and non-strategic tasks) currently being managed by the team.
