A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate to join its IP litigation practice group in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will manage legal tasks related to IP disputes and handle complex matters independently, leveraging a strong foundation in general litigation.

Duties

• Draft and review motions, pleadings, and briefs for IP disputes.
• Handle discovery requests, including drafting and responding to document requests, interrogatories, and depositions.
• Assist with trademark oppositions, cancellations, and USPTO proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memos on non-patent IP issues.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case review.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 2-4 years of general litigation experience.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to handle multiple matters efficiently and independently.
• Competent in legal research and document management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
