A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Mid-Level Antitrust Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in pre-merger notification and civil and/or criminal antitrust litigation. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in California and will possess excellent academic credentials and a strong background in antitrust law.

Duties:

  • Handle pre-merger notification filings under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act, including drafting and submission of filings.
  • Represent clients in civil and criminal antitrust litigation, including drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide strategic advice on antitrust issues.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, depositions, and trial.
  • Advise clients on antitrust compliance, risk management, and regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement legal strategies.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
  • Monitor and analyze developments in antitrust law and regulations to provide informed advice.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and personalized service.
  • Support senior attorneys in business development and case management.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in pre-merger notification and civil and/or criminal antitrust litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of antitrust laws, including the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act and related regulations.
  • Proven track record in managing complex litigation and regulatory matters.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing.

  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and managing discovery processes.
