Associate Attorney needed for Iselin office

Profile

A law firm in Iselin, NJ, is seeking an Associate Attorney with exceptional attention to detail, time management, organizational, and writing/communication skills. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a self-starter, and an independent thinker, with the ability to work as part of a team in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment. A book of existing work is a plus. The applicant must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in New Jersey. Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability is preferred, with trial experience being a plus.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Assist with case preparation and strategy.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
• Manage a caseload under the supervision of senior attorneys.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license in good standing in New Jersey.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability preferred.
• Trial experience preferred.
• A book of existing work is a plus.
