A well-established law firm is seeking a Trial Attorney with strong litigation experience to join its dynamic personal injury team. The role involves managing a full caseload from inception through trial, particularly focusing on motor vehicle accident claims. Location:
Fort Worth, TX
Duties:
Manage personal injury cases from initial filing through trial
Draft pleadings, conduct depositions, and handle discovery
Oversee trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
Interact regularly with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
Supervise a litigation team of 5+ members
Participate in pre-litigation negotiations and settlement discussions
Handle commercial motor vehicle cases and related litigation
Collaborate with other legal professionals and staff
Stay current on developments in personal injury and trucking law
Work independently with a high degree of accountability
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation
Ability to manage a full litigation caseload with minimal oversight
Demonstrated leadership and team supervision experience
Pre-litigation case management background
Strong interest in or experience with trucking/commercial motor vehicle cases
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Active and in good standing with the Bar in one of the following states: Texas, Illinois, or Georgia
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis)
Strong legal analysis and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and organizational competency
Trial experience highly preferred
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
Willingness to pursue board certification in truck accident law
