Human Resources Manager
The candidate serves as admin for HR Systems within their division of the company. Conducts bi-weekly payroll, including retro pay, prorating, etc.. Writes offer letters, perform background checks, onboard employees. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy constructive, and when needed properly offboard people. May be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. Serves as culture liaison; planning local events and charity functions. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required. Should preferably have 5-7 years of human resource management experience. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly desired.
