A law firm in Salt Lake City is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Real Estate Attorney. The successful candidate will serve as a business advisor, guiding clients through a full range of legal matters and will be responsible for handling complex real estate transactions. This role offers the opportunity for direct client interaction, business development experience, and significant responsibility for sophisticated legal matters. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, substantial experience in various real estate areas, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Duties:

• Serve as a business advisor to clients, providing guidance on legal matters throughout their life cycle
• Handle all aspects of complex real estate transactions for clients of varying sizes and industries
• Gain direct client interaction, business development experience, and significant responsibility for complex legal matters
• Preferably bring a minimal portable book of business
• Specialize in complex real estate developments, real estate financing transactions, acquisitions and dispositions, commercial lease transactions, zoning, land use, and condominiums

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials
• 7+ years of real estate or related transactional law experience
• Experience in the Following Areas: Complex real estate developments, Real estate financing transactions, Real estate acquisitions and dispositions, Commercial lease transactions, Zoning, land use, and condominiums.

Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external clients, attorneys, and staff
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
