This position is a professional track (non-partnership track) role focused on managing structured securities offerings. The ideal candidate will have expertise in commercial real estate law, particularly in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The role involves advising public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors on transactions, restructurings, complex financings, and commercial real estate development.

Duties

  • Manage and oversee structured securities offerings.
  • Provide legal counsel on real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Represent public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors.
  • Assist with complex transactions, restructurings, and financings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support business strategies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and business professionals to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic legal guidance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.
  • Prior experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and business judgment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in Texas (TX Bar admission required).
