A law firm seeks a corporate associate with 4-6 years of experience in public companies and capital markets, located in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in public company reporting compliance, governance, and SEC compliance, as well as experience with Nasdaq/NYSE compliance.

Duties

• Manage public company reporting compliance and governance.
• Address day-to-day issues for public companies, including SEC compliance and disclosure matters.
• Represent issuers or investment banks in capital markets transactions, including IPOs and equity/debt offerings.
• Engage in private investment in public entities (PIPEs) and at-the-market offerings.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in public companies and capital markets.
• Experience with SEC compliance and Nasdaq/NYSE compliance.
• Experience with technology and/or life sciences companies is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar.
