A law firm located in Concord, NH, is seeking a Trust and Estate Attorney with significant experience in estate planning, gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning and return preparation, as well as trust and estate administration. The ideal candidate should have the ability to assume a leadership role, possess a strong academic record, and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. Ideal candidates will also have experience working directly with high-net-worth individuals and families and their advisors on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies. Experience in business succession planning is a plus.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel and services in the field of trust and estates.
• Conduct estate planning and develop tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies.
• Prepare and plan for gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax matters.
• Administer trusts and estates, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
• Assume a leadership role within the practice area.
• Collaborate with high net-worth individuals, families, and their advisors.
• Work on business succession planning projects, if applicable.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in estate planning, gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning and return preparation.
• Ability to assume a leadership role.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in working directly with high net-worth individuals and their advisors.
• Knowledge of business succession planning is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
