The candidate will be opening for a Summer Law Clerk.A successful candidate is a person who is has a demonstrated interest in tax law and has taken coursework in the field. An LLM in Taxation is preferred. Should have LLM in tax program or graduate with an LLM in Taxation. The focus of the work is tax law, and so an understanding of the tax law is critical to the job. We are a tax law firm located in San Jose that focuses on federal and California tax controversy, international tax, tax fraud, tax and business planning, and bankruptcy- tax. Situated in the heart of Silicon Valley, we represent individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates in federal and California tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service and state and local taxing agencies including the California Franchise Tax Board.
