Duties

• Research case details, analyze evidence, and review client documentation and previously filed pleadings
• Interpret case law and judicial decisions to determine their impact on ongoing cases
• Draft defensive motions, including motions for protective orders and motions to quash
• Prepare pleadings, motions, legal memorandums, and settlement agreements
• Advocate diligently for clients' rights and interests throughout litigation

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in the State of Florida
• Minimum of two years' experience in commercial litigation, preferably with consumer finance or mortgage foreclosure experience
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively within a team setting
• High level of motivation and ability to work independently
• Professional demeanor and business acumen

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed Attorney in Florida (admission to additional states is a plus)
