Duties

• Focus on U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution.
• Develop and manage global strategic patent portfolios for clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on IP rights matters.
• Engage in patent opinion work and related counseling.
• Support business development efforts actively.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Registered to practice before the US Patent & Trademark Office.
• Moderate portable book of business.
• Seven or more years of experience as a registered patent prosecution attorney.
• Technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, physics, or related areas.
• Strong client service orientation.
• Proven ability to manage and grow a book of business.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Registered to practice before the US Patent & Trademark Office.
