Profile

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate to join its Columbus, Ohio office. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, project financing, and securities matters.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist in business formation and corporate governance issues.
• Engage in project financing and securities-related activities.
• Draft and review contracts and legal documents.
• Conduct thorough research to support transaction processes.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop innovative solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with deadlines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of corporate law experience, preferably in mergers and acquisitions or corporate finance.
• Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission in Ohio.
