  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in various employment law matters, focusing on the plaintiff's perspective.

  • Conduct legal research, analyze statutes and case law, and provide informed legal opinions to clients.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, responses to motions, settlement agreements, and employment contracts.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings before agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC), as well as in state and federal court proceedings.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and employers, striving to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Nevada State Bar.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing employment law, focusing on representing plaintiffs.
  • Thoroughly understand federal and state employment laws, regulations, and court decisions.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Nevada State Bar.
