A law firm seeks an associate with 2-4 years of experience in aviation and product liability litigation to join their team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will be a proactive litigator with strong writing skills, capable of managing cases independently through discovery and trial.

Duties

• Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations.
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
• Prepare status reports and recommendations for clients.
• Review document collections for litigation preparation.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from initial pleadings to trial.

Requirements

• Experience in aviation and/or product liability preferred.
• Discovery and law and motion experience required.
• State and federal court experience necessary.
• Excellent academic credentials and work history.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in California.
