Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified associate with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join the transactional side of their Copyright practice in San Francisco, CA. This role focuses on advising leading technology, digital media, and content-driven companies on complex commercial transactions.

Duties

• Advise clients on complex, standalone commercial transactions, including licensing and data acquisition.
• Draft and negotiate sophisticated, bespoke commercial agreements.
• Engage in principal-side deal work in the music, entertainment, and content space.
• Provide strategic partnership agreements and dispute settlement advice.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Substantial experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience in technology transactions or IP licensing preferred.
• Prior experience in entertainment, music, or media is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the state of California.
