Duties

• Meet deadlines and manage a high volume of cases.
• Research complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff.
• Handle court appearances, client meetings, and depositions.
• Communicate regularly with clients.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in MD.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense.
• Admission to practice in DC or VA is a plus.
• 4-8 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
• Experience in complex general liability and professional liability is a plus.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Maryland.
