Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Whitestone, NY, is seeking a seasoned personal injury attorney to join its litigation practice. The role focuses on representing plaintiffs in a variety of injury-related legal actions. The position requires court appearances across New York City’s five boroughs, as well as Long Island and Westchester. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on litigation experience and a proactive, team-oriented mindset to a close-knit legal environment.

Duties:

• Represent plaintiffs in personal injury matters from intake through resolution

• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings and bills of particulars

• Respond to and prepare discovery demands

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Handle court appearances, conferences, and motions throughout NYC, Long Island, and Westchester

• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas when needed

• Originate or bring in new cases (eligible for fee-sharing incentives)

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff-side)

• Licensed to practice law in the State of New York

• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to courts throughout the region

• Comfortable in a collaborative, small firm setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities

• Effective courtroom presentation and advocacy skills

• Ability to manage multiple matters independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Job Location:
