Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Corporate Debt Finance Associate with 3 to 4 years of experience to join the Corporate Finance and Lending team within the Corporate Practice Group. The preferred location for this position is Atlanta, Miami, or New York; however, candidates may be based in any office within the Eastern Time Zone.

Duties

• Negotiate, structure, and document complex financing transactions.
• Represent private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and/or lenders.
• Work on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and related transactions.
• Collaborate with deal teams on sophisticated corporate finance matters.

Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience in debt finance transactions.
• Outstanding academic record with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Membership in the Florida, Georgia, or New York Bar, or ability to obtain admission promptly.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar membership in Florida, Georgia, or New York, or eligibility for prompt admission.
