A law firm seeks an experienced Construction Litigation Associate to join its team in Orlando, FL. This role offers a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to engage in diverse litigation, claims analysis, and risk management within a dynamic and growing office environment.

Duties

• Manage complex construction litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct claims analysis and risk management for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Engage in procurement, contracting, and claims processes.
• Participate in various forms of dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of commercial or construction litigation experience.
• Proven ability to handle complex cases through all dispute resolution stages.
• Experience with dispositive motion practice and court hearings.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Florida Bar admission.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills for complex fact patterns and applicable law.
• Effective deposition skills, including taking and defending key witnesses.
• Practical approach to litigation with a strong work ethic.
