Duties

• Handle all phases of litigation, from case initiation through resolution

• Manage and litigate medical negligence and general liability cases

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal briefs

• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trial preparation

• Communicate and collaborate with clients, medical experts, and internal teams

• Ensure high standards of legal practice and ethical conduct

Requirements

• 4–6 years of civil litigation experience

• Substantial experience handling medical negligence or healthcare-related claims

• Proven ability to manage litigation files independently and efficiently

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Academic performance in the top 25% of the graduating class

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Alabama (required)
