Location:

Duties:

• Defend clients in insurance-related litigation, including court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with clients.
• Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Manage caseload and ensure timely delivery of work products.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and legal teams.
• Utilize legal software for case management, timekeeping, and billing.

Requirements:

• Active license in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Commitment to producing high-quality legal work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as legal software for meetings and case management.
• Experience in court proceedings, mediations, and litigation strategy.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar license.

Skills:

• Expertise in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
• Proficiency in technology, including legal software and Microsoft Office.
