A leading law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience to join its Consumer Financial Services, Data, and Technology (CFS+) Practice Group in Fort Lauderdale. This role is ideal for an attorney with a background in commercial litigation and an interest in financial services litigation. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex cases in both federal and state courts involving major financial institutions and technology-driven legal issues.

Location:

• Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Duties:

• Represent financial institutions and technology companies in consumer financial services litigation

• Handle commercial litigation matters involving data privacy, regulatory compliance, and contractual disputes

• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery in state and federal court

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy

• Attend court appearances, hearings, and depositions

• Collaborate with team members on complex litigation and regulatory matters

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services regulations and data privacy laws

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial litigation

• Prior exposure to financial institutions litigation preferred

• Experience litigating cases in both federal and state courts

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex legal matters concurrently

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar (required)

Skills:
