Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Financial Services Litigation Associate Attorney with two to five years of experience to join their San Francisco, California office. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, eager to manage a caseload, and possess strong interpersonal communication skills.

Duties

• Manage case files and engage in motion practice.
• Participate in courtroom opportunities and depositions.
• Prepare for trials and engage in alternative dispute resolution.
• Analyze, organize, and draft pleadings.
• Conduct e-discovery and fact development.
• Propound and respond to written discovery.
• Appear in state and federal courts for case management conferences and motions.

Requirements

• Active California license required.
• Experience from a regional, national, or outstanding local law firm preferred.
• Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills required.
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UCL/UDAP.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
