Duties

• Draft and review contracts, deeds, leases, and other legal documents.
• Review closing statements for financial accuracy and compliance.
• Scrutinize loan documents and complete closing packages.
• Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients.
• Apply title insurance knowledge to protect clients from title defects.
• Evaluate property surveys, inspections, and documentation.
• Conduct meticulous property title reviews.
• Develop strategies to attract new clients and expand the client base.

Requirements

• Active member of the relevant state bar in good standing.
• State-specific Notary Public certification.
• Understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and local ordinances.
• Knowledge of property rights, land use, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
• Effective communication skills to explain legal concepts to clients.
• Adherence to ethical standards and client confidentiality.
• Problem-solving skills for complex legal situations.
• Proficiency in handling real estate transactions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active state bar membership.
• Notary Public certification.
