Claims Management and Coverage Counsel
The candidate will independently manage a claims caseload, working claims from beginning to end. Provide coverage, liability and damages analysis for complex professional liability, employment liability, and D&O matters. Draft reservation of rights and coverage denial letters. Negotiate to resolve matters, participate in mediations, and draft settlement agreements. Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects. Communicate with clients and provide status reports. Legal project management experience is a plus. J.D. from an accredited Law School is required. Should have 2+ years of legal practice experience in the insurance area. Previous experience analyzing policies, drafting coverage letters and opinions is a plus. Should be licensed insurance adjuster, preferably in the states of California, Florida, Arizona, Washington or Texas.
