Duties

• Appear in bankruptcy court and related forums for hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Handle discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Collaborate with internal legal teams and clients to resolve complex financial and restructuring issues.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in bankruptcy litigation.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and related federal procedures.
• Admitted to practice in New York.
• Federal court experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• Admission to federal district and bankruptcy courts is a plus.
