Essential Duties & Responsibilities

50% -

With guidance, is familiar with a variety of field’s concepts, practices and procedures

Begins to inspect and audit the operations and financials of an organization and reports evidence of fraud

Assists Senior Auditor and Supervisor with delivery of client service and maintains profitable client relationships

In the beginning phase of learning the clients and their business

In the beginning phase of marketing/networking efforts on behalf of the firm

Keeps current on all CPE requirements and applicable law changes/updates

Builds relationships within the firm

Becomes familiar with firm processes and procedures

Assists in administrative functions and completes other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education

– Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; Master’s degree preferred.

Knowledge

– Federal, state, and local level regulations, proficiency in use of computer audit preparation, research, and audit planning software programs

Skills

– Judgment, planning, goal setting/accomplishment, excellent people skills to interact with clients and firm members, outstanding communication skills, initiative, positive attitude, team oriented, efficient, and proficient in Word, Excel, and online research

Experience

– Entry level position

Exams

– Pursuit of Certified Public Accountant's license

Travel:

Very little to no out of town travel
