Duties

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from intake to case resolution.
• Speak with pre-suit clients to obtain demand and settlement authority.
• Draft and send demand letters; negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents.
• Communicate with clients to respond to discovery.
• Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Attend occasional court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Represent clients in Magistrate Court proceedings when necessary.
• Participate in client final disbursements to explain release language and distribution summary.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Georgia.
• Some experience in personal injury litigation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Georgia tort law, medical terminology, and personal injury litigation procedure.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-interaction skills.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to manage a calendar and client emails effectively.
• Professional, team-oriented, and client-focused mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Georgia.
