Duties

• Defend clients in medical malpractice litigation matters

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Conduct legal research and case analysis

• Participate in depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations

• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and development

• Communicate with clients and expert witnesses effectively and professionally

Requirements

• 1–3 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities

• Admitted to practice in New Jersey

• Must include bar admission dates for all jurisdictions in application

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in New Jersey
