A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Commercial Litigation/Insurance Coverage Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills, along with confidence in appearing before courts and clients. Bar admission in PA, NY, NJ, MA, or DE is helpful.

Duties:

• Handle commercial litigation matters, including insurance coverage disputes
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding insurance coverage issues
• Conduct discovery, including document production and depositions
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on case strategy and management
• Keep abreast of developments in insurance law and commercial litigation

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation
• Bar admission in DE (helpful)
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Bar admission in DE (helpful)
