Duties
Develop and implement case-level litigation strategies for consumer collections
Represent clients in court proceedings across Georgia
Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Manage dockets and litigation timelines in collaboration with internal legal teams
Negotiate settlements with defendants and opposing counsel
Handle counterclaims and escalated litigation matters
Monitor legal developments and educate internal staff on regulatory updates
Leverage legal technology for efficient case management and compliance
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for streamlined litigation processes
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in civil litigation or creditors' rights law
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel to courts throughout Georgia as required
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused work ethic
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active member in good standing with the Georgia State Bar
Skills
Strong litigation and courtroom presence
Ability to work collaboratively with legal teams
Proficiency in legal technology and document management tools
Familiarity with creditor’s rights and related regulations
Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
Good judgment, initiative, and a high bar for professional excellence
