Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Construction Litigator in Boston, MA, to represent design professionals in legal matters. The role involves handling claims of professional negligence and contract disputes related to design changes, construction defects, and other related issues.

• Duties
• Represent design professionals in litigation involving professional negligence claims.
• Handle contract claims related to design changes causing additional costs or delays.
• Engage in pre-trial work, including motion practice and discovery.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses and manage trial proceedings in various courts and arbitration.
• Work with insurance carriers and manage coverage issues.

• Requirements
• Experience in construction law representing design professionals.
• Trial experience in federal, state, or tribal court, and/or arbitration.
• Experience with insurance carriers and coverage is a plus.
• Prior experience at a reputable law firm is preferred.
• A portable book of business of $350K is preferred, but not required.

• Education
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Certifications
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
