Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a passionate and motivated Entry-Level Immigration Attorney to join its growing legal team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a newly licensed attorney or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in immigration law, with support and mentorship from senior attorneys. The position includes client-facing responsibilities, active case management, and collaboration with a team of experienced immigration professionals.

Location:

  • Las Vegas, Nevada

Duties:

  • Explain immigration processes and present legal strategies to clients

  • Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals

  • Conduct intakes, including visits with detained individuals at detention centers

  • Prepare and review immigration applications, including family-based petitions and humanitarian relief

  • Develop strategies for court and USCIS hearings and prepare clients and witnesses accordingly

  • Draft and submit legal briefs, motions, and supporting documents

  • Participate in client consultations and determine eligibility and legal options

  • Communicate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on immigration-related matters

  • Maintain timely case updates and documentation while managing an active caseload

Requirements:

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in immigration law

  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with a supportive legal team

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred, not required)

  • Familiarity with family-based petitions, EOIR proceedings, detained clients, citizenship, and other USCIS matters

  • Experience using case management software (preferred)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (Nevada preferred)

Skills:

  • Legal research and writing proficiency

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Clear and professional communication

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

  • Empathy and professionalism in client interactions
