Job Overview: A law firm in Birmingham, AL is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in foreclosure law and litigation. Duties:

• Draft and/or review legal documents and pleadings
• Argue motions and handle discovery
• Manage file caseload efficiently
• Respond to court notifications and inquiries from clients, debtors, and debtors' attorneys
• Conduct court appearances as needed
• Undertake trial preparation activities
• Conduct legal research on relevant case law

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in foreclosure law and litigation
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing
• Residing in Alabama with licensure in additional states preferred
• Experience or willingness to learn in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research
• Proficient in working with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize a high volume workload

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law
