A law firm seeks an associate with 3-7 years of experience to join its Atlanta, Georgia office as part of the Labor and Employment team. The team advises public and private companies, senior executives, and management on employment laws, restrictive covenants, litigation, executive compensation, and contract negotiations. The role involves a mix of litigation, counseling, and transactional work.

Duties

• Engage in commercial and employment litigation.
• Conduct legal research and develop case facts.
• Prepare for depositions and manage discovery processes.
• Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Review and negotiate employment-related agreements.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in commercial or employment litigation.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
• Experience with employment agreements and due diligence is a plus.
• Am Law 100 experience is preferred.
• Admission to practice in Georgia or eligibility to waive into the Georgia Bar.

Education

• J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Georgia Bar or eligibility to waive in.
