This position provides a great opportunity for an attorney with 0-5 years of experience to develop expertise in insurance defense litigation. You will work closely with experienced attorneys, handling various aspects of litigation and contributing to the success of the firm’s cases. Duties

• Assist in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial preparation through post-trial motions.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Maintain direct communication with clients, insurance adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Conduct legal research and analyze issues pertinent to ongoing litigation.
• Attend court hearings and assist in trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court, advocating effectively to achieve favorable case outcomes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 0-5 years of litigation experience; experience in insurance defense is a plus but not required.
• Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Admission to the State Bar of New York.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of New York.
