Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience to join its dynamic Real Estate Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex and high-stakes commercial real estate transactions, collaborating with a team of over 50 professionals. The firm represents both lenders and borrowers in commercial real estate deals, providing a multifaceted practice with exposure to various aspects of real estate law.
Duties:
Lead and manage real estate finance transactions, including but not limited to structuring joint ventures, purchase and sale agreements, and management agreements.
Handle complex real estate transactions, advising clients on strategy, structuring, and risk management.
Interface directly with clients, providing legal counsel and managing client relationships.
Work on a variety of real estate projects, with a focus on commercial real estate finance and transactions.
Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient case management and timely execution.
Manage a fast-paced and diverse workload, ensuring that priorities are met and issues are anticipated and resolved promptly.
Contribute to the growth and development of the real estate practice group by sharing expertise and knowledge.
Requirements:
4-7 years of experience in real estate law, with a strong focus on commercial real estate transactions.
Lender-side experience is preferred but not required.
Proficient in drafting and negotiating real estate agreements, joint ventures, and management agreements.
Knowledge of real estate finance and leasing is a plus.
Demonstrated experience working with clients on complex, high-value transactions.
Must be admitted to practice law in California.
A proven ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume workload.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized and accredited law school.
A strong academic record is highly preferred.
Certifications:
Admission to the California State Bar is required.
