This position will support cross-border and global employment matters, interacting frequently with offices worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international counseling, focusing on corporate transactions, employee mobility, reductions in force, terminations, and advising emerging companies on various employment law matters. The firm seeks candidates who are flexible, eager to learn, and possess immediately transferable skills.

Duties

• Conduct employment diligence and provide advice on employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements.
• Advise on reductions in force, employee terminations, and other employee-related issues.
• Draft restrictive covenants and provide counsel on employee mobility.
• Advise and counsel emerging companies in all aspects of employment law.
• Collaborate with other offices within the firm’s global employment practice.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in employment counseling (domestic and/or international).
• Experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction where applying.
