The candidate should be a counsel-level attorney to support qualified plan work for the firm’s Plan Sponsor Group. Will support the firm’s Plan Sponsor Group and will be expected to work on qualified plan matters (such as 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, as well as defined benefit plans, and cash balance plans) and other matters. This position would be a non-partner track, counsel-level position. Should have a great deal of experience in counseling clients on the qualified plan rules, including the nondiscrimination rules, the affiliated service group rules, and the application of the QSLOB rules. 8+ years of relevant experience, excellent academic credentials, and strong writing skills required.
