A reputable law firm located in Vienna, VA, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney. Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation matters across various courts, including state, federal, and administrative agencies
• Manage case strategy, including researching legal issues and developing arguments for motions and hearings
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, interrogatories, and memoranda
• Take and defend depositions, and manage expert witness coordination and trial preparation
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and local counsel
• Provide mentorship and support to junior attorneys, as needed
• Participate in case strategy discussions and decision-making processes
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of litigation documents and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience in litigation, including motion practice, depositions, and trial proceedings
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage and strategize legal cases
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience in handling complex legal matters, including working with experts and other professionals
• Prior courtroom experience in the Northern Virginia and Fairfax County areas
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence in legal practice

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Virginia State Bar (Required)
