Assistant Municipal Prosecutor
Duties : Will perform tasks such as entail screening pre-arraignment cases, drafting and negotiating sentencing resolutions, preparing and conducting trials, and daily court hearings including arraignment, sentencing, restitution hearings, etc. Position may include some motion and/or appellate work. Further work includes reviewing, evaluating and compiling evidentiary materials, occasional weekend duty, and responding to inquiries for information and assistance from the general public, APD, outside attorneys, witnesses, and victims. Will participate in out-of-office training events with APD and other agencies. This position may include work in both the general trial and the domestic violence units.
