Requirements

• Experience in felony criminal defense law

• Experience handling first-chair jury trials

• Proven ability to manage a large caseload with minimal supervision

• Strong litigation and courtroom skills

• Former or current prosecutor or public defender experience preferred

• Spanish language proficiency is a plus

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida State Bar
