Duties

• Manage personal injury cases from intake through trial, if necessary.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions.
• Appear in court for conferences and hearings.
• Develop case strategy and work directly with clients.
• Perform legal research and draft high-quality pleadings and memoranda.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in New York.
• 2+ years of experience in personal injury and/or insurance defense preferred.
• Strong deposition and motion practice experience preferred.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
