Associate Attorney

Duties: Managing the company’s debt collection litigation. Will have solid knowledge of federal and state debt collection laws and civil litigation experience. Manage a high volume of collection cases from inception through trial. Review contracts, business records, invoices and other documents to determine appropriate action. Prepare demand letters, petitions, discovery responses, motions, settlement agreements and related correspondence. Represent the Company at hearings, mediations and trials as necessary. Negotiate settlements with debtors and/or opposing attorneys. Make reasonable efforts to resolve contested matters. Other responsibilities as litigation requires or as assigned.
